30l~1 <br />1 <br />Plumbing Inspector: <br />Human Rights Taylor moved that Mayor Warkentien's appointment of <br />Commission: Arley Waldo, 1736 Fry Street, be approved, as a member <br />of the Falcon Heights Human Rights Commission, the term <br />to expire May, 1973. Ecklund seconded and the motion <br />carried. <br />Taylor moved that Richard Alquist be retained as plumb- <br />ing inspector for the Village. Ecklund seconded and <br />the motion carried. <br />Auditor: Taylor moved that Carl Pearson of Pearson and Company, <br />Auditors, be engaged to do the 1970 audit of the books <br />for the Village of Falcon Heights at a fee to be negoti- <br />ated. Stone seconded and the motion carried. <br />1 <br />Deputy Clerk-Treasurer: Taylor moved that the Council ratify the Clerk's appoint- <br />ment of Genevieve Belgea as Deputy Clerk-Treasurer for <br />1971. Warkentien seconded and the motion carried. <br />Insulating of Warkentien moved that the Village appropiate a maximum <br />Warming Houses: amount of $100 per unit to insulate the warming houses <br />at the Falcon Heights Elementary School and West Falcon <br />Woods skating rinks, under the supervision of Richard <br />Magt3nsen, building inspector, the work to be supplied <br />by the local advisory committee members. Stone seconded <br />and the motion carried. <br />Recreation Warkentien moved that Miss Donna Seline, 1970 Recreation <br />Director and Director, be engaged as the recreation director for the <br />Assistant: suYruner of 1971 at a salary of $1000 and that she be re- <br />quested to hire an assistant at a salary of $750. It <br />was also requested that Donna and Mrs. Barbara Lukermann <br />try to coordinate the Village recreation program with <br />that of Roseville School District 623 and that the com- <br />mittee be advised to employ teenagers at the rate of <br />$1.35 per hour with the total salaries not to exceed <br />$1000 for the eight week season. Black seconded and the <br />motion carried. <br />Human Rights Ecklund moved that Mayor Warkentien's appointment of <br />Commission Mrs. Patricia Buschmann, 191. Arona Avenue, as a member <br />Appointment: of the Falcon Heights Human Rights Commission be ap- <br />proved, the term to expire Nlay, 1972. Black seconded <br />and the motion carried. <br />1 <br />Life Insurance - Black moved that the Village Council authorize the pur- <br />John R. Printon: chase of a $5000 YJhole Life Insurance Policy covering <br />John R. Printon, Village Clerk-Administrator, to be <br />obtained from Vincent Schadegg, Agent, Mutual Service <br />Insurance Companies, 891 South Robert Street, St. Paul, <br />Minnesota, for an annual premium of $237.50. Warkentien <br />seconded and the motion carried. <br />Sewer Board Clerk Printon and Engineer Lemberg attended a meeting <br />Meeting Attended by scheduled by the City of St. Paul and the Metro Sewer <br />Clerk Printon and Board January 1!}, 1971. Clerk Printon stated that the <br />Engineer Lemberg: residencies presently served by the City of St. Paul <br />
