3010 <br />RESOLVED FURTHER that the collateral shall be furnished <br />by the Falcon Heights State Bank in lieu of the corporate <br />of surety bond required by law~consisting of two-hundred <br />forty-five thousand dollars ($215,000) face of U. S. <br />Government Obligations accompanied by an assigmnent pro- <br />viding that in case of default on the part of the Faloon <br />Heights State Bank, the Council has full power and author- <br />ity to sell the collateral or so much as may be necessary <br />to realize the full amount due the municipality. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER that checks of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights drawn upon the said bank account shall be honored <br />by said bank only if signed by the Mayor and Clerk-Treas- <br />urer of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota. In <br />the absence of axiy one or more of the above, the acting <br />Mayor's signature shall be honored in place of the Mayor, <br />and the Deputy Clerk-Treasurer°s signature shall be <br />honored in place of the Clerk-Treasurer. <br />RE90LVED FURTHER that this designation shall be effec- <br />tive until the end of the present calendar year providing <br />the depository is located within the Village of Falcon <br />Heights during this time. <br />Warkentien seconded and the motion carried. <br />1 <br />Posting Places: Taylor moved that the following places be designated <br />official posting places: <br />1. Village Hall - 161~l~ West Larpenteur Avenue <br />2. Applebaum°s Market - 1558 West Larpenteur Avenue <br />3. Borgstrom's Pharmacy - Hamline and Iowa Avenue <br />!~. Falcon Heights Pharmacy - 1707 North Snelling Avenue <br />Stone seconded and the motion carried. <br />Representative and Ecklund moved, seconded by Taylor that the following <br />Alternate resolution be adopted. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />Representative - resolution was unanimously adopted. <br />Ramsey County <br />League of WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights is a member°in <br />Municipalities - good standing of the Ramsey County League of Municipalities, <br />Resolution 71-2: and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights desires to con- <br />tinue its participation in the Ramsey County League of <br />Municipalities, <br />NOY1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of <br />Falcon Heights hereby designates as ib3 repeesentative <br />to the Ramsey County League of Municipalities for the <br />period January 1, 1971 to December 31, 1971 - William <br />Black. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village of Falcon <br />Heights hereby designates Charles P. Stone as its alter- <br />nate representative to the Ramsey County League of Muni- <br />cipalities. <br />
