3058 <br />Bids - Advertisement for Bids were published two consecutive <br />Village Office weeks in April, 1971. Westlund 7,233.00 <br />Alternate Bid 2,867.00 <br />Carl Dedolph 6,377.00 <br />Alternate Bid 1,193.00 <br />Larson Building 5,177.00 <br />Alternate Bid 1,757.00 <br />Aladdin Improvement Co. 6,627.00 <br />Alternate Bid 2,08l~.00 <br />Stone moved that the Bid be awarded to Elview Construction <br />Inc., 7601 - 73rd Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota, as <br />the lowest responsible bidder for revision of the Village <br />Office, work to be started May 3, 1971 and completed by <br />June !~, 1971, and also, the alternate bid work be elimina- <br />ted. Ecklund seconded and the motion carried. <br />Recreation Mrs. Lillian Duethman, Recreation Committee Chairman, <br />Committee - Falcon Richard Thorpe, Member, and Edward Gutzman, Photographer, <br />Heights Little were present at the meeting to show slides and discuss <br />League Hockey: finances for the proposed hockey rink to be constructed <br />adjacent to the present Falcon Tnroods playground if signed <br />agreement is received from the University of Minnesota. <br />Many residents from the area were also present. <br />Black moved that the Village Attorney be authorized to <br />contact the Attorney for the University of Minnesota as to <br />the feasibi7l~.ty of setting up an agreement with the Univer- <br />sity of Minnesota. Ecklund seconded and the motion carried. <br />Bills: Stone moved that the following bills be paid: <br />Falcon Heights State Bank - Last half - April -FWH 168.60 <br />Commissioner of Taxation - Last half - April - SWH 57.30 <br />State Treasurer - Last half - April - PERA 89.Ob <br />
