Seivert, Secretary-Treasurer, Mid-America <br />Pipe Cleaning Pipe Cleaning, Inc.., was present at the meeting to discuss <br />Representative with the Council their reasons for going out for bids on <br />Present: the Sanitary Sewer Cleaning program after obtaining quota- <br />tions. Engineer Lemberg related that the Village must make <br />sure the work to be done would bring results. Engineer <br />Lemberg stated the quotations were confidential. Members <br />of the Council indicated that the quotations were not <br />confidential as they were revealed at a previous meeting. <br />Mr. Seivert thought going to bids after his compat~r had <br />submitted a quotation was unfair. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br /> that the Clerk-Administrator, in consultation with the <br /> Village Engineer, accept the quotation proposal of Mid- <br /> America Pipe Cleaning, Inc., provided that Mid-America <br /> agrees at no extra cost to comply with the plans and speci- <br /> fications of the Village Engineer filed with the Village <br /> Clerk-Administrator, and that, the Village Clerk-Administrator <br /> should report to the Dillage Council as to whether or not <br /> Mid-America Pipe Cleaning, Inc. has accepted the Village's <br /> counter offer. AYES: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br /> Ecklund, Stone. NAY: Councilman Taylor. Motion carried. <br />Amendment to The Village Attorne~r was directed to draft changes to the <br />Ordinance No. 69 subdivision Ordinance No. 69, to present at the meeting of <br />To Provide Fees: May 11, 1972. <br />Fire Truck Bids: Motion by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Blank <br /> to approve the fire truck specifications, and direct the <br /> Clerk-Administrator to advertise for bids, to be opened <br /> Friday, June 2, 1972, at 2:00 P.M. C.D.S.T. Motion carried. <br />Fire Reports: Fire Reports No. 19, 20, 22 were accepted and filed. <br />Payroll: Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Taylor, <br />to approve the payroll, for the period ending April 30, <br />19?2, in the amount of $1,870.16. Motion carried. <br />General Motion by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />Disbursements: to approve the general disbursements, for the period ending <br />April 27, 1972, in the amount of $9,631.98.
