31 MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING FALCON HEIGHT S, MINNESOTA MAY 11, 1972 A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:35 P.M. PRESENT: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklund, Stone and Taylor. Councilman Black arrived at 9:05 P.M. Also present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes and Attorney Seed. ABSENT : None Minutes: Motion by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Stone, to appznve the minutes of the regular meeting of April 27, 1972, as amended. Motion carried. Ramsey County Mr. Douglas Fink, Director, Ramsey County League of Munici- Ditch and palities, requested that the Council select one m'~nber to Drainage Study: serve on a Committee to study changes in the Ramsey County ditch and drainage. No action was taken. Subdivision of Mr. James C. Stroud, Attorney for Mrs. Edna B. Stewart, Land - 1761 North 1761 North Fairview Avenue, was present at the meeting to Fairview Avenue: request approval for subdivision of land at 1761 North Fairview Avenue. Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, that the matter of subdivision of land be submitted to the Falcon Heights Planning Commission for recommendation. Motion carried. Justice of the Justices of the Peace Ronald Riach and Steven Nelson were Peace Revised present at the meeting to discuss the new revised fins Fine Schedule: schedule for the Village and they related that this new schedule is now more in line with surrounding Villages. Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Taylor, to authorize the Clerk-Administrator to publish the stew revised fine schedule. Motion by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Stone, that the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator be authorized to enter into an agreement with the University of Minnesota Law students, to prosecute court cases fora 6 month period, for the Village of Falcon Heights, at a cost of $25 per evening and necessary expenses subject to approval of the Clerk Administrator. Motion carried.
