They suggested the
trucks delivering from Snelling Avenue into the liquor
store parking lot and leaving by the same route instead of
driving east on Crawford Street where children are playing.
Also suggested by the residents was for a traffic light at
the intersection of Arona and Crawford. They thought this
might deter some of the motorists from driving east on
Crawford to Arona to avoid the traffic signal on Larpenteur
and Snelling.
Motion by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Ecklund,
to table the matter until the meeting of June 8, to provide
residents adequate time to prepare data to substantiate
their objections to the establishment of a municipal liquor
store at 1708 North Snelling Avenue.
