3 ~' <br />Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />that the Village dispense with one playground assistant <br />leader because of the unavailability of the Idaho-Snelling <br />playground area this summer. AYES: Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Stone, Taylor. NAY: Mayor Warkentien. Motion <br />carried. <br />Payroll: Motion by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />to approve the payroll for the period ending May 31, 1972, <br />in the amount of $1,870.L~5. Motion carried. <br />General Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Taylor, <br />Disbursements: to approve the general disbursements for the period ending <br />May 25, 1972, in the amount of $7,030.91. Motion carried. <br />Liquor Store Mr. Robert Moder, Moder Town & Country Realtors, 1365 <br />Site Locations: Midway Parkway, St. Paul, was present to discuss the pur- <br />chase by the Village, of property (Lot 6) located north of <br />the Hermes Shopping Center on Snelling Avenue north of <br />Larpenteur. The lot could be purchased for $75,000. Also <br />discussed was the building located at 1709 North Snelling <br />Avenue, (formerly Delarned~s Beauty Shop) which is !~0 X 75 <br />feet, or 3000 square feet, which could be purchased at $150, <br />000. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Taylor, <br />to adjourn the meeting at 10:56 P.M.
