Thursday, June 1, 1972. The meeting <br />is a discussion on the proposed Metropolitan Benefit Sewer <br />Policy. <br />Elected Officers - The Village Council was notified that the following men <br />Volunteer Fire were elected as Operational Officers for the Falcon Heights <br />Department: Volunteer Fire Department at their meeting of May 2, 1972: <br />Chief Albert Helbig <br />Assistant Chief Henry Dachtera <br />Assistant Chief Robert Luey <br />Captain Gerald Baden <br />Captain Leo Lindig <br />Lieutenant Stanley Schultz <br />Lieutenant Frank Wandmacher <br />Dr11 Captain Leo Lindig <br />Assistant Drill Pat Coughlin - Ray Brown <br />Officers l:rank Wandmacher <br />The rules and regulations of the Falcon Heights Volunteer <br />Fire Department state that each fireman must attend a <br />minimum of 33 drills a year to qualify for a years service <br />to apply toward pension. This rule was established April 6, <br />1971, and all members are familiar with it. <br />The following men will lose the 1971-1972 year's credit <br />toward pension because of insufficient drill attendance: <br />Donald Pantzar <br />Ronald Peterson <br />Vic Vainovskis <br />Fire Reports: Fire Report Nos. 21, 23, 21~, 25, 26 were accepted and filed. <br />Hiring of Recreation rliss Pat Rizzi, 1972 Summer Recreation Director, submitted <br />Leaders and names and applications of seven for hire a~ leaders and <br />Assistant Leaders: assistant leaders for the 1972 summer recreation program. <br />Motion by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Stone, <br />that the Village establish a policy of not employing <br />recreation leaders and assistant leaders from outside of <br />the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />Councilman Taylor moved to amend the motion to read that <br />before any hiring of leaders and assistant leaders from <br />other than the Village of Falcon Heights that approval <br />must be obtained from the Council. Councilman Black accep- <br />ted the amendment. AYES: Councilmen Black, Stone, Taylor. <br />NAYS: Mayor Warkentien, Councilman Ecklund. Motion carried. <br />
