Motion carried. <br />Fire Truck Bid A Fire Truck Bid Tabulations were submitted to the Council by <br />Resolution 72-~ Councilman Ecklund which were opened Friday, June 2, 1972, <br />at 2:00 P.M., at the Village Ha11. <br />Motion by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />to adopt Resolution 72-8 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID A FOR FIRE TRUCK CHASSIS, <br />FORD L9000, TO MIDWAY`F'ORD COMPANY, 1850 UNIVERSITY <br />AVENUE, ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA, IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$11,137.00 PROVIDING THEY ASSURE THE 1973 MODEL <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly adopted upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: AYES: !~. NAYS: None. <br />notion carried. <br />Request to Mr. Jay Christiansen, 870 Edgewater, Shoreview, Minnesota, <br />Paint House college student, requested permission to be allowed to <br />Numbers on paint house numbers on curbs for a donation from residents. <br />Curbs: Clerk-Administrator Barnes was directed by Council to have <br />Ken Quarn, maintenance man, or Bert Slama, Village inspector, <br />to make a random survey of residents feelings on this re- <br />quest and Council will decide at meeting of June 22, 1972. <br />
