~n <br />Metropolitan Clerk-Administrator Barnes read a letter from the Metro- <br />Transportation politan Council in regard to a transportation proposal for <br />Proposal Letter: the Twin Cities area, which is on file in the Clerk-Adminis- <br />trator's office. <br />Metropolitan Clerk-Administrator Barnes read a letter and viewed map for <br />Airport Sites proposed new airport sites from the retropolitan Council, <br />Map: which is on file in the Clerk-Administrator's office. <br />1972 Sealcoating Motion by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />Project:- that the Village advertise for bids to sealcoat the north- <br />Advertisement west quadrant of the Village, and in addition to advertise <br />For Bids: for bids for bituminous curbing of Fry Street along the <br /> Robert Hall property and also Spiegler Apartments, as recom- <br /> mended by Engineer Lemberg, and to be assessed to the benefit <br /> of the owner. Bid opening shall be July 13, 1972, at 8:00 <br /> P.ri., with a public hearing on the curbing to be held at <br /> 8:15 P.M ., in the event that the necessary 100p petition <br /> cannot be obtained, at the regular meeting of July 13, 1972. <br /> Motion carried. <br />Sidewalk Replace- Mr. F. W. Manke, 11~6t~ West Idaho Avenue, requested by letter <br />ment Request - that he be allowed to replace the sidewalk in front of his <br />11~61~ ~7est Idaho home at his own expense. <br />Avenue: PZotion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Black, <br /> that Pir. Manke be authorized to replace the sidewalk in <br /> front of his home at his own expense, and that at the same <br /> time, as recommended by Engineer Lemberg, the corner cross- <br /> walk be replaced at Village expense. NTotion carried. <br />Fire Reports: Fire Reports No. 27, 28 were accepted and filed. <br />Payroll: Motion by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />to approve the payroll for the period ending June 15, 1972, <br />in the amount of $2,205.76. Motion carried. <br />General Motion by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />Disbursements: to approve the general disbursements for the period ending <br />June 8, 1972, in the amount of $2,209.1.0. Motion carried. <br />1972 Sewer Engineer Lemberg submitted specifications for the proposed <br />Cleaning Project: 1972 sewer cleaning project and recommended the following <br />types of bids to be proposed: <br />BID A <br />Cleaning of complete sewer system by combination of rodding, <br />bucketing and betting and including television inspection. <br />BID B <br />Cleaning of complete system by combination of rodding, <br />bucketing and jetting by lineal foot without televising. <br />BID C <br />Random television inspection by set up. <br />
