4 <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Stone, and the follow- <br />- ing voted against: Councilman Ecklund, Taylor. Whereupon <br />the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Issuance of Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution and <br />Public Sale moved its adoption: <br />of Bonds - <br />Resolution 72-11: RESOLUTION 72-11 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND PUBLIC SALE <br />OF $100,000 MUNICIPAL BUILDING REVENUE BONDS OF 1972 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Stone, and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Stone, and the follow- <br />ing voted against: Councilmen Ecklund, Taylor. Whereupon <br />the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Clerk-Administrator Councilman Stone introduced the following Resolution and <br />Authorized to Borrow moved its adoption: <br />Money from Sanitary <br />Sewer Funds - RESOLUTION 72-12 <br />Resolution 72-12: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLERK-Alk4INISTRATOR <br />TO BORROW FUNDS FROM THE SANITARY SEWER FUND TO <br />PAY FOR WEBERS COTTAGE INN, 1708 NORTH SNELLING <br />AVENUE, AT A RAGE OF 5% INTEREST <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Mayor Warkentien, and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor 1~'arkentien, Councilmen Black, Stone, Taylor, and the <br />following voted against: Councilman Ecklund. Whereupon <br />the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Close Associates Motion by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Stone, <br />Architects Selected: that Close Associates, Architects, 3701 East Fxanklin <br />~~ ~2zc ~; ~ /tip-~ ~~': -rs.=.-y ~- Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota, be selected for the purpose <br />~u.~=~' c< .. of designing and supervising the remodeling and adding to <br />~~~ t .ti,~~.~.- iU 1~ the building of Weber's Cottage Inn, 1708 North Snelling <br />Avenue, for the purpose of establishing a municipal liquor <br />store. AYES: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Stone. <br />Councilmen Ecklund and Taylor abstained. Motion carried. <br />Adjournment: Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />to adjourn the meeting at 12:55 A.M.
