~4 <br />Human Rights Motion by Mayor Warkentien, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, <br />Commission Presented that the Clerk-Administrator be directed to write a letter <br />Historical Profile: to William H. Brown, Chairman of the Human Rights Commission <br />of Falcon Heights, to thank him for the Historical Profile, <br />and ask him to submit names if interested persons to fill <br />the vacancy caused by the resignation of Nlrs. Curtis Larson. <br />T°Zotion carried. <br />Maintenance Discussion was held as to storage and work area for the <br />Building Plans: maintenance department. Possible plans will be received <br />from the Engineer and it will be dis cussed at the meeting <br />of August 24, 1972. <br />Sanitary Sewer <br />Maintenance Costs: <br />Sewer Service <br />Cost Maintenance - <br />Ordinance No. 121: <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes reported that he made a study of <br />surrounding communities as to policy of sanitary sewer <br />maintenance costs. It was revealed that Falcon Heights is <br />the only community sharing cost of maintenance of setaer <br />service stubs and conclused that an Ordinance be adopted <br />on the order of Roseville's to eliminate Falcon Heights <br />Village responsibility. <br />Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />for adoption of Ordinance No. 121 to amend Ordinance No. !~6 <br />to read as follows: <br />ORDINANCE N0. 121 <br />IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER <br />OR OCCUPANT TO MAINTAIN THE SEYTER FROM THE <br />MAIN SE~1ER TO THE HOUSE OR BUILDING <br />AYES: T~layor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Stone, Ecklund, <br />Councilwoman Stocker. NAY: None. T~Iotion carried. <br />Falcon ti^Joods Motion by Councilman Black, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, <br />Park: to authorize the Clerk-Administrator to engage with offi- <br /> cials of the University of Minnesota in reference to the <br /> acquisition of approximately 11.27 acres of land adjacent <br /> to the Falcon ti^'oods playground. The Clerk-Administrator <br /> shall also be authorized to cancel or rescind the present <br /> lease agreement of March 27, 1972, between the Village and <br /> the University of Minnesota covering property at Maple <br /> Knoll Park area. Motion carried. <br />1972 Election Motion by Councilwoman Stocker, seconded by Mayor ti^Jarken- <br />Judge Slate: tien, to accept the slate of election judges for the 1972 <br /> elections as presented. Motion carried. <br />Junker Car No Aletter was received from Gladys Jurgenson, 1301 Cannon <br />Longer Parked Avenue, stating that the car no longer stands parked at <br />at 1705 North 1705 North Albert Street, said car being registered in <br />Albert: her name. <br />Letter to Property After Council discussion, it was decided that the owner of <br />Owner at 1701 North property at 1701 North Albert Street be notified by letter <br />Albert Street from the Clerk-Administrator, under the hand of the Village <br />Concerninngg Untidy Attorney, setting forth a date for cutting of weeds and <br />Portion of the Lot: cleaning of untidy portion of lot at owner's expense. <br />
