Councilman Blacl> informed the Council that the <br />Planning Commission did 'nave a Public Hearing on the rezoning <br />request on October 10, 1972, and subn~.itted :Por file the <br />Planning Commission minutes reconunending denial of said. re- <br />a,uest . <br />IIr. Arthur Lindig, 1875 Z~.. Lai~enteur Avenue, feels there should <br />be a bu._F'fer between 1.-1 and li-3, and in his opinion feels that <br />a double bungalot, ti-could provide this. Tr. Lindig does not <br />z~,ant a 1a-rge house on this lot and possibly having a large <br />f orally move in . <br />Betty and Tiartha Sommers, 17C1 T1. Fairvietl Avenue, were in <br />oppositi on to the double bungaloti~? and ti~rere concerned as to who <br />zroulcl be renting, such as a. group of students. <br />Joseph Bianchi, 1725 T~1. Fairvie~,r Avenue, felt that it should <br />notbe rezoned. <br />Patrick Ga~~rey, 1727 Lindig Avenue, ti~ras concerned also as to <br />who ti~rould ire renting, such as single students creating a <br />parlcing, traffic and noise problem. <br />Totion by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Ecklund <br />to den,;;r the rezoning application of Iir. F ~T Street from Larnenteur Avenue to a point <br />a:pproxir!ately 175 feet north thereof, and along the t~rest <br />side of Fr~r Street to a point approximately 150 feet thereof, <br />in the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />
