Tia;;ror ti~~arkentien informed those present that the affidavit of publication is on file and that mailed notices zrere mailed to property owners t~-ithin the required 300 feet, on September 19, 1972. Councilman Blacl> informed the Council that the Planning Commission did 'nave a Public Hearing on the rezoning request on October 10, 1972, and subn~.itted :Por file the Planning Commission minutes reconunending denial of said. re- a,uest . IIr. Arthur Lindig, 1875 Z~.. Lai~enteur Avenue, feels there should be a bu._F'fer between 1.-1 and li-3, and in his opinion feels that a double bungalot, ti-could provide this. Tr. Lindig does not z~,ant a 1a-rge house on this lot and possibly having a large f orally move in . Betty and Tiartha Sommers, 17C1 T1. Fairvietl Avenue, were in oppositi on to the double bungaloti~? and ti~rere concerned as to who zroulcl be renting, such as a. group of students. Joseph Bianchi, 1725 T~1. Fairvie~,r Avenue, felt that it should notbe rezoned. Patrick Ga~~rey, 1727 Lindig Avenue, ti~ras concerned also as to who ti~rould ire renting, such as single students creating a parlcing, traffic and noise problem. F ~T Street from Larnenteur Avenue to a point a:pproxir!ately 175 feet north thereof, and along the t~rest side of Fr~r Street to a point approximately 150 feet thereof, in the Village of Falcon Heights.
