~, ~ ~ +# <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 2b, 1972 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Village Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Warkentien at 8:05 P.M. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, <br />and Councilwoman Stocker. Also present were Clerk-Ad- <br />ministrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney <br />Kenefick. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />Minutes: Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded b3' Councilman <br />Black, to approve the minutes of the October 12, 1972 <br />meeting as corrected. Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman <br /> Stone, to approve the minutes of the October 19, 1972 <br /> meeting as corrected. Motion carried. <br /> Appointment of Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund <br /> <br />James Duffy to , <br />to approve the appointment of James Duffy, 1961 Summer <br /> Recreation Advis- Street, to the Recreation Advisory Committee. Motion <br /> ory Committee: carried. <br /> Human Rights - Bill Brown of the Human Rights Commission, was present <br /> North Suburban at the meeting to give information and answer questions <br /> Family Education on the request from the Human Rights Commission for an <br /> Center: appropriation from the Falcon Heights Village Council <br /> to the North Suburban Family Education Center, in the <br /> amount of $100.00. <br />Councilman Black moved that the Council appropriate the <br />money, and that the Clerk-Administrator be directed to <br />charge this expenditure to the Human Rights Fund. <br />Councilwoman Stocker seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilman Black, and <br />Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against: <br />Councilmen Eeklund and Stone. Motion carried. <br />Variance Request Councilman Black introduced the following resolution and <br />Marian Tschida: moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # 72-l~1 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A 2'~ FOOT VARIANCE <br />REQUEST OF MARIAN H. TSCHIDA FORA HOUSE AT <br />HAMLINE AND RUGGLES <br />WHEREAS, Marian H. Tschida has made a request for a 2~ <br />foot variance permit to construct a house at Hamline <br />
