<br />Conditional Use No action was taken on the request of Midway Signs for 15.0 <br />Request -Midway W. Larpenteur Avenue, as the sign being erected is within the <br />Signs: requirements of the zoning ordinance. <br />Variance Request - Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Ston e, that the <br />Schiller's Market: Clerk-Administrator be directed to write a letter to the manager <br />of Schiller's Market explaining that the Council cannot authorize <br />the placing of a sandwich board sign on the public right of way, <br />namely on the boulevard in front of their store at 1597 N. <br />Hamline Avenue. Motion carried. <br />Report on Business Councilwoman Stocker reported on the various cantacts she has <br />in Falcon Heights: made and the responses she has received when talking to <br />businessmen in the area, and suggested that a meeting be set <br />up between the Council, businessmen and any other interested <br />citizens in the community. It was agreed that Wednesday, <br />January 31, 1973, at 8:00 P.M. at the Village Hall, would <br />be acceptable, and that the Clerk-Administrator shall send <br />notices to the businessmen of the Village. <br />Ordinance #123 - Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to adopt <br />Sewer Connection Ordinance No. 123: <br />Charges: <br />ORDINANCE #123 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE SELdER SERVICE <br />AVAILABILITY CHARGE <br />Motion unanimously carried. <br />Hamm's Advertising Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman ,Stone, that <br />Sign -Municipal Hamm's Brewing Company be notified that the Council is not in <br />Liquor Store: favor of any outdoor, brand name advertising for the liquor <br />store, such as on the picture submitted to Clerk-Admim.strator <br />Barnes. Motion carried. <br />Repainting the Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, that <br />Sma11 Liquor the Clerk-Administrator be authorized to enter into an agreement <br />Store Sign: with Midway Signs to paint the small sign at the liquor store, <br />to match the red paint on the larger sign saying "Liquor." <br />Motion carried. <br />Correspondence - Mayor Trlarkentien moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, to <br />William H. Brown - approve the appointment of Rosemary Swingle, 1898 Pascal Avenue, <br />Human Rights Falcon Heights, to the Falcon Heights Human Rights Commission <br />Commission: as per recommendation of William H. Brown, Chairman of the <br />Human Rights Commission, in his letter of January 10, 1973• <br />Motion carried. <br />Snowplowing: Councilman Ecklund moved that the Village request the County <br />have motor patrols do all the plowing within the Village of <br />Falcon Heights.
