It was suggested that Clerk-Administrator Barnes <br />request the County, if possible, to plow out the West Falcon <br />Woods area while plowing Roselawn Avenue. <br />Change Order rr2 - Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, to <br />Liquor Store: approve sections 3 and 5 of Change Order #2, by !antler <br />Corporation. Section 3 allowed an addition of $310.00 for <br />electrical changes for floor outlets, special light fixtures <br />in wine area, weatherproof receptacle in landscaped area <br />north of entry, and changes to conveyor controls. Section <br />5 allowed an addition of $1l~0.00 for adding a 1 inch layer of <br />blacktop to 11 foot wide buffer strip at the east end of the <br />parking lot. Motion carried. <br />Insurance - Attorney Kenefick reported that he received a reply from th e <br />Youth Hockey: Paul J. Breher Company about insurance for coaches involved <br />in the Youth Hockey Program. They are not covered under the <br />liability policy, and Attorney Kenefick stated that he had <br />contacted Don Drach suggesting that he and the other coaches <br />procure their own insurance if not already covered under <br />home owners insurance <br /> Laroenteur - Engineer Lemberg reported that the Minnesota Highway Department <br /> Snelling Traffic plans to take bids on making improvements on the traffic signal <br /> Signal Changes: system at the intersection of Larpenteur and Snelling, con- <br /> sisting of the installation of new magnetic vehicle detectors <br /> and new directional faces on several of the lights. <br /> Liquor Store Engineer Lemberg presented sketches and proposed suggestions <br /> Front for decorating and lighting the west and north sides of the <br /> Improvements: liquor store building at Snelling and Crawford. The Council <br /> requested that quotations be obtained by the next meeting to <br /> include installing the six light fixtures and to do the <br /> necessary carpentry work and painting to accomplish the effects` <br /> shown on the sketch. <br />Hermes Shopping After discussion of the present method of snowplowing of the <br />Center - Parking parking lot at the Hermes shopping center whereby the snow <br />Lot Snowplowing: is pushed onto the median between the southbound lane of <br />Snelling Avenue and the west service road. The Council <br />requested that Engineer Lemberg contact the Minnesota Highway <br />Department maintenance personnel and ask then to get in <br />touch with Hermes in an attempt to have this practice stopped. <br />Fire Reports: Fire reports numbers 50 and 51 of 1972 were noted, as was <br />fire report number 1 of 1973. <br />Sheriff's Bulletin: Sheriff ~ s bulletin; for December 1972, was noted. <br />General Disburse- Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to <br /> menu - Second approve the general disbursements for the second half of <br /> half of December, December, 1972, in the amount of $867.05.
