Flodin procure <br />more precise information and submit it to the Clerk-Ad- <br />ministrator on February 22, 1973. <br />Rink Closing Clerk-Administrator Barnes presented information to the <br />Discussion: Council which lie had procured from other communities in the <br />metropolitan area relative to the rink closing times-in <br />other communities. The Council authorized the C1erk- <br />Administrator to close the rinks at his discretion. <br />Application for Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien to <br />Volunteer Fireman: approve the application of P•:onte M. Krause, 221 Larpenteur <br />Avenue as a Volunteer Fireman for the Village of Falcon <br />13eights, subject to a physical and six months probation. <br />Motion carried. <br />Ramsey County Councilman Stone reported on a meeting of the Ramsey County <br />Municipalities P~Teeting: N'unicipalities which he attended on Welfare in the Metropolitan <br />area. <br />Recognition - .Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, <br />Reverend j°7ayne to authorize Clerk-Administrator Barnes to have a plaque of <br />Van Kirk: appreciation and recognition made for Reverend Wayne Van <br />Kirk, who has been a charter member and past chairman of <br />the Falcon Heights 17uman Rights Commission. Motion carried. <br />Lidots Addition: Councilman Black reported that lze had talked witl: John <br />Labelestra of Lido ~ s Cafe, and that i~~r. Labelestra had told <br />him that they wish to expand their restaurant and would like <br />the property to the north of the parking lot rezoned. Pdo <br />formal rezoning application was submitted, and the matter was <br />tabled until a later date. <br />Fire Report: Fire report number 3 was noted. <br />Sheriff's Report: Sheriffs report for January, 1973, was noted. <br />General Payroll: Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to <br />approve the general pay3'oll for the first half of February, <br />1973, in the amount of ~2~5C7,7~. P•Totion carried. <br />General Disbursements: Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, to <br />approve the general disbursements for the first half of <br />February, 1973, in the amount of $l~5,£376.73.
