`~ d <br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to GENERAL DISBURSEMENTS <br />approve the general disbursements for the first half of <br />March, 1973, in the amount of $109,667.07. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to LIQUOR PAYROLL <br />approve the liquor payroll for the first half of March, <br />1973, in the amount of $1,311.98. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to LIQUOR DISBURSEMENTS <br />approve the liquor disbursements for the first half of <br />March, 1973, in the amount of $9,8l~6.15. Motion carried. <br />Engineer Lemberg reported on the progress of the maintenance ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />garage, and the painting of the louvers at the Municipal LOAD LIMITS <br />Liquor Store. He also reported on a meeting of the Ramsey <br />County Board of Engineers which he attended, and explained <br />that all load limits would be posted as 9 ton streets <br />unless otherwise designated. <br />Discussion was held to reconsider a motion previously PARK PLANS <br />rescinded on February 22, 1973, authorizing Engineer <br />Lemberg to proceed with plans for the new recreational <br />park. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Stone, AUTHORIZATION TO <br />to authorize Engineer Lemberg to prepare preliminary ENGINEER LEMBERG TO <br />plan layouts of the West Falcon Woods playground area. PROCEED WITH PARK PLANS <br />Motion carried. <br />A letter from the Governor of the State of Minnesota, CORRESPONDENCE <br />regarding the Governor's Natural Disaster Conference <br />was read, and no action was taken. <br />A letter from the Ramsey County League of Municipalities <br />regarding the Metro Council was read, and Councilman <br />Black and Councilwoman Stocker were appointed as delegates <br />to the two new committees they are now forming. Council- <br />man Black was appointed as a representative to study the <br />form and function of the Metropolitan Council. Council- <br />woman Stocker was appointed as a representative to work <br />with the League of Municipalities secretary in reappor- <br />tioning the Ramsey County Board districts to provide <br />for a one~nan, one-vote basis. <br />A letter from the Attorney General's office regarding the <br />"open meeting" law was read. <br />A meeting notice of the University of Minnesota's <br />Residential Advisory Committee on March 15, 1973, <br />7:30 P.M. was noted. <br />A letter was read regarding a meeting to be held with <br />NSP regarding the electric rate study and proposed <br />uniform electric franchise to be held in the Social <br />Hall at the Civic Center Building, March 15, 1973, at <br />7:30 P.M. <br />
