Councilman Ecklund arrived at B:OLt P.h1. <br />Also present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer <br />Lemberg and Electrical Inspector Robert Cla~zson. <br />Councilman Stone and Attorney Kenefick. <br />Co~zncilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />to approve the minutes of the meeting of April 26, 1Q73, <br />as corrected. r"otion carried. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to <br />approve the appointment of the new Electrical Inspector, <br />Robert Clauson, 1586 E. Sextant Avenue, Roseville, N`in- <br />nesota, wh.o is replacing the retiring inspector, rnr. <br />Gilman ~"oe. r"otion carried. <br />Councilman Black introd~zced the following Resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # 73-13 <br />THE VILLAGE COTJr1CIL OF TiIE VILLAGE OF FALCOr1 HEIGHTS <br />ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT OF THE LETTER AND RESOLUTION <br />OF THE RAMSEY COtT?4TY BOARD OF CONT~ISSIOTdERS RELATIVE <br />TO THE TOPICS PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Falcon <br />?eights approved the original plans with modifications, <br />labeled "Exhibit A", as per Resolution ?3-6, dated <br />March 1, 19?3. <br />WHEREAS, The plans approved by the Village provided that <br />no trees were to be removed in the vicinity of the inter- <br />change, and a temporary curb cut of approximately twenty <br />feet was to be installed in the median to allow access to <br />the alley between Laroenteur and California Avenues, and <br />there would be installation of left turn lanes and left <br />turn signals, and said plans wolzld be f~zlly funded by the <br />federal and state under the TOPICS Program. <br />W?3EREAS, The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has <br />seen fit to alter the plans, without further consulta- <br />tion with the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />rtOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ITEREBY RESOLVED, By the Village <br />Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, that they have <br />no recourse in the matter and must accede to the re- <br />vised plans for the TOPICS Program, as submitted by <br />Deane R.
