Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien,
<br />that the variance approved for 26.5 feet distance from
<br />the property's north lot line, be changed to 21.5 feet
<br />from the property's north lot line, as recommended by
<br />the Falcon Heights Planning Commission at their meeting
<br />of May 23, 1973. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman B1 ack reported that the Planning Commission VARIANCES -
<br />met on Tray 23, 1973, and approved the variance requests PLANNING COP~`JISSION APPROVAL
<br />for variances by Arthur Lindig, 1875 W. Larpenteur for
<br />the erection of a steel utility building, and 1423 W.
<br />Iowa, for the construction of a double garage with a
<br />three foot variance. These two variances had previously
<br />been approved by the Council, subject to the approval of
<br />the Planning Commission.
<br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to RESCINDING ACTION OF
<br />rescind the action taken at the meeting of May 10, 1973, MAY 10, 1973
<br />moving that the Village employ Stennes and Associates ACTUARIAL SURVEY
<br />to prepare an actuarial survey for the Falcon Heights
<br />Volunteer Fire Department. Upon a vote being taken
<br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: P'Iayor
<br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, and Stone. Councilman
<br />Ecklund and Councilwoman Stocker were absent, and the
<br />following voted against the same: None. Motion carried.
<br />Fire reports niunbers 18, 19, 20, and 21 were noted. FIRE REPORTS
<br />The Sheriff's report for April, 1973 was noted. SHERIFF'S REPORT
<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by T!Iayor Warkentien, GENERAL PAYROLL
<br />to approve the general payroll for the second half of
<br />May, 1973, in the amount of $2,737.85. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Black, GENERAL DISBtTRSEP~NTS
<br />to approve the general disbursements for the second
<br />half of May, 1973, in the amount of $23,882.02. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to LIQUOR PAYROLL
<br />approve the liquor payroll for the second half of May,
<br />1973, in the amount of X1,270.90. r"otion carried.
<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by TTayor Warkentien, to LIQtJOR DISBURSEP'fENTS
<br />approve the liquor disbursements for the second half of
<br />Tray, 1973, in the amount of X7,453.89. Motion carried.
