Where- upon the Resolution wa.s declared dl.zly passed and adopted. 42 Co~zncilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Stone, STATE FIRE CO^NENTIOr1 to authorize three members of the Falcon Heights Volunteer Fire Department, to attend the anmzal convention in Detroit Lakes, Tune 7, ~:, 9, and 10, expenses to be raid shall include registration fees, room and per diem. This is a budgeted item. Motion carried. Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, APPLICATIONS - to re.iect the application for volunteer fireman submitted VOL?TNTEER FIREMEN by Jerry Fetsch, 1590 N. St. Albans, due to administrative ~rERRY FETSCH policies. motion carried. Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Black, TERRY IVERSON to approve the application for a volunteer fireman sub- mitted by Terry Iverson, 1815 Englewood Avenue, subject to a physical azd six months probation. P7otion carried. Clerk-Administrator Barnes reported that Mrs. Nancy GIRL'S SOFTBALL TEAMS Radefeldt, 1803 N. Hamline Avenue, has offered to donate STJN~~tER RECREATION her services to the Falcon heights summer recreation program and coach girl's softball teams. Engineer Lemberg presented his plans for the new Falcon FALCON HEIGHTS Heights Community Park. He explained that he had drawn COMMiTI~IITY PARK a total concert of the elan, and that the elan could be broken down and constructed in phases if the Co~.zncil so desired. Clerk-Administrator Barnes was directed to contact the Regents of the ?Tniversity in order to set up a meeting at which time the plans would be presented to the Tlniversity. A report will be made at the meeting of .Tune 1l~, 1973. A variance for a 3.5 foot set back for a new home at VARIANCE - RESTTBATITTED Sheldon and Roselawn was resubmitted to the Council by ROSELAWN ?~ SI-IELDON Councilman Black. This variance had previously been approved by the Council, but the owner of the property feels that a set back such as this would not conform with the appearance of the rest of the homes in the area.
