<br />1 <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, <br />that the revised plan for remodeling the Lido Cafe sub- <br />mitted by John Labalestra be approved, These plans are <br />on file in the Clerk's office. The Village Engineer has <br />reviewed the plans and expressed his approval of said <br />plans. Whereas, the building inspector is hereby author- <br />ized to issue a building permit. T~Totion carried. <br />Engineer Lemberg reported that a meeting was held with <br />Mr. Larry Blackstead, T~~r. Joel Tierney, Mr. Paul Kopeitz, <br />Mr. Tim Erkkila, Mr. Clint Hewitt, and Mr. Steve Markowitz, <br />of the University of T~Tinnesota, in regards to the Falcon <br />Heights Community Park plan, proposed at Cleveland and <br />Roselawn. He stated that a meeting is now being set up <br />with the Regents of the University which will be held <br />in July, requesting their approval. <br />Attorney Kenefick stated that a letter is being written <br />to the University of Minnesota Regents requesting that <br />they extend the lease for the park area for the Village <br />of Falcon Heights for a twenty year period. <br />LIDO CAFE REMODEL NG <br />AND ADDITION <br />COT~ITINITY PARK PLADIS <br />MEETING WITH UNIVERSITY <br />REQTJEST FOR EXTENSIODI OF <br />U"1IVERSITY LEASE <br />A letter from Deane R. Anklan, Ramsey County Engineer LARPEPdTEUR - FER~')1WOOD <br />dated May 21~, 1973, about the Larpenteur - Fernwood STORM WATER LIFT STATIOr1 <br />storm water lift station to which a road is being con- <br />structed, was noted. The cost to the Village of Falcon <br />Heights for the construction of this road will be approx- <br />imately $1,066.00. <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to GENERAL PAYROLL <br />approve the general payroll for the first half of June, <br />1973, in the amount of $2~g73,88. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, GETtiTERAL DISBURSEMENTS <br />to approve the general disbursements for the first half <br />of June, 1973, in the amount of $8,519.31. Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Black, LIQt70R PAYROLL <br />to approve the liquor payroll for the first half of <br />June, 1973, in the amount of $1,38p.22. Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, LIQUOR DISBURSEMEPTTS <br />to approve the liquor disbursements for the first half of <br />June, 1973, in the amount of $12,16f?.1~5. Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, ADJOITRNNIE~IT <br />to adjourn the meeting at 12:15 P.M.
