1 <br />f <br />1 <br />also stated that the County and the City of St. Paul <br />are requesting the approval of these plans by the <br />Village of Falcon Heights. <br />Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 73-21 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS FOR THE PROPOSED RE- <br />CONSTRUCTION OF CLEVELAND AVENUE, NORTH ON COMO <br />Councilman Black seconded the foregoing Resolution, and <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund and Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the <br />following voted against the same: None: Motion carried. <br />~ 5~ <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />CLEVELAND AVENUE <br />RECONSTRUCTION <br />A request for payment for damages done to two sleeping LIQUOR STORE PARKING LOT <br />bags and a hunting suit by water running off the CLAIM FOR PAYMENT BY <br />Municipal Liquor Store parking lot, by the Richard R. BROWN, 15.6 CRAWFORD <br />Brown's, 15116 Crawford, was read and tabled until the <br />meeting of August 9, 1973, in order to allow the <br />Attorney to check into the matter. <br />Engineer Lemberg stated that he had previously checked <br />into the matter and that the only thing done to the <br />parking lot was that a matting of black top was put <br />over the gravel. Engineer Lemberg was directed to <br />make an elevation survey on this property and report <br />back to the Council on August 9, 1973• <br />Attorney Kenefick stated that the Northern States Power <br />Company has not been able to meet the 60% participation <br />in the Metro Rate Authority contract as of this date. <br />The expiration date for the adoption of this contract is <br />July 31, 1973• Unless it is deemed to extend this date <br />an additional period of time, the authority will be <br />dissolved. <br />Attorney Kenefick stated that he was checking with the <br />Village of North Oaks regarding the issuance of a <br />liquor license in that Village pertaining to the Split <br />Liquor Bi11. <br />METRO RATE AUTHORITY <br />SPLIT LIQUOR BILL <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, LETTER TO COUNTY COMMISSIONER <br />to direct Clerk-Administrator Barnes to write a letter-: RE: COUNTY HEALTH <br />to Delores Knaak, Ramsey County Commissioner, commending <br />her on her letter of July 19, 1973, outlining her ob- <br />jections to the County Health Department, which letter <br />is filed in the Clerk's office. Motion carried. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes stated that Steven A. Nelson CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES <br />has submitted a quote to him for the proposed codification <br />of the ordinances. Further action on this matter was <br />tabled until a later date. <br />Fire reports numbers 28, 29, 30 and 31 were noted. FIRE REPORTS <br />
