<br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
<br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA
<br />AUGUST 9, 1973
<br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Village Council was called to order by
<br />Mayor Warkentien at 8:00 P.M.
<br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Stone, PRESENT
<br />and Councilwoman Stocker. Also present were Clerk Adminis-
<br />trator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg, and Attorney Kenefick.
<br />None. ABSENT
<br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, MINUTES
<br />to approve the minutes of the meeting of July 26, 1973,
<br />as corrected. Motion carried.

<br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Black, GENERAL CORPORATE LICENSE
<br />to approve the request for a new general corporate license KELM TREE SERVICE
<br />by Kelm Tree Service, to operate a tree trimming business
<br />in the Village of Falcon Heights. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, NON-INTOXICATING MALT
<br />to approve the following applications for "On-Sale", LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWALS
<br />Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor License renewals for the FAIRGROUNDS
<br />Minnesota State Fairgrounds for the period starting July
<br />1, 1973, and ending June 30, 1971:
<br />William S. Brede, Block 35, Building 351, Beer Garden
<br />Mrs. Katie R. Little, Block l~2, Building 1121, Arcade
<br />Bart Blinstrup, Block l~2, Building l~21, Arcade
<br />Kenneth E. Cleworth, Block 1t2, Building l~21, Arcade
<br />A. Grodon Schierman, Block 30, Lot R
<br />Agnes G. Junkin, Block 28, Building 286, Grandstand
<br />James A. Davis, Block 50, Building 501, Hippodrome
<br />Samuel T. Sands, Block 1~7, Mexican Village
<br />Motion unanimously carried.
<br />The request of Mr. Henry Dachtera, Civil Defense Director,
<br />asking for payment of per diem and expenses from the
<br />Civil Defense budget so that he can attend the following
<br />rescue workshops was discussed: The International Rescue
<br />and First Aid Association Conference, the Minnesota
<br />Rescue and First Aid Association Conference, and the
<br />Professional Rescue Instructors of Minnesota Workshop.
<br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, that the remaining $100.00
<br />in the Civil Defense budget be used for these conferences,
<br />and that any additional allocation needed be referred to
<br />the Fire Department, to be taken out of fire schools
<br />budget, for their approval. Motion died for lack of a
<br />second.
<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Stone,
<br />to authorize Henry Dachtera to attend the Minnesota
<br />Rescue and First Aid Association Conference in Duluth,
<br />Minnesota, of which he is president, September 8, and ~,
<br />and the Professional Rescue Instructors of Minnesota
<br />Rescue Workshop in Brainerd, Minnesota, September 21,
<br />22, and 23, not to exceed the amount of $172.00, $100.00
