MIPIUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL N~ETING <br />FALCON HEIGHT S, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEN~ER 27, 1973 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Village Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Warkentien at 8:00 P.P'I. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklund and Stone, PRESENT <br />and Councilwoman Stocker. Also present were Clerk- <br />Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney <br />Kenefick. Councilman Black arrived at 9:12 P.M. <br />' ?Tone. ABSENT <br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, MII~'UTES <br />to approve the minutes of the meeting of September 13, <br />1973, as corrected. Motion carried. <br />ORDINANCE 128 ORDINANCE 128 <br />PERTAINING TO UI~TAUTHORIZED <br />AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO ALLOWANCE OF AN IN- USE OF VEHICLES <br />COMPETEPJT OR UNLICENSED DRIVER TO DRIVE A VEHICLE <br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, <br />to adopt the foregoing Ordinance. Upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Z~Tarkentien, Councilmen Ecklund and Stone, and <br />Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against <br />the same: None. Whereupon, the Ordinance was adopted. <br /> Attorney Kenefick requested consideration of the ordinance ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO <br /> pertaining to the licensing of mobile vehicles, itin- LICENSING OF MOBILE VEHICLES <br /> Brant merchants and street c orner peddlers be deferred ITINERANT MERCHANTS AND <br /> until the meeting of October 11, 1973, He also re- STREET CORNER PEDDLERS <br /> quested that the Council set a f ee for the above license. <br /> Said fee was set at $25.00. <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, LICEPdSE TO SELL CHRIS'Ifi-'tAS <br />that the application for a general corporate license TREES AT 1871 W. LARPENTEUR <br />submitted by Bertel Gimmestad, proprietor of the <br />Lindig Midway Floral Shop at 1871 W. Larpenteur, for <br />the sale of Christmas trees during the 1973 season, be <br />app roved. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, <br />that six members of the Falcon Heights Fire Department <br />be authorized to attend the Advanced Emergency Aid <br />Seminar, to be held at St. Paul Ramsey Hospital from <br />October 2, through October 30;.1973. Registration is <br />$25.00 each, making a total of $150.00, to be paid by <br />the Village of Falcon Heights. The firemen attending <br />are: Norman Ecklund, Frank Wandmacher, Robert Luey, <br />Robert Berg, Ray Brown, and ~1im Fuller.
