<br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution
<br />and moved its adoption:
<br />RE SOLUTTOPI 73 -25
<br />RESOLUTION REVOKING AND ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL
<br />STATE AID HIGHWAYS
<br />Councilman Stone seconded the foregoing Resolution rem.
<br />moving Idaho Avenue from the State Aid Improvement Ro11,
<br />and designating Garden Avenue in its place, and upon a
<br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
<br />thr~reof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Brack, Ecklund,
<br />and Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following
<br />voted against the same: None. Whereupon, the Res-
<br />olution was adopted.
<br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien,
<br />that the tree at 1717 Hamline Avenue be removed if
<br />it is found to be on Village property. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund,
<br />that a special meeting be set for October 1, 1973, at
<br />7:30 P.M. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund,
<br />that the ordinance drafted pertaining to bottle clubs
<br />in restaurants, be tabled. Upon a vote being taken
<br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof : Mayor
<br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund and Stone, and
<br />the following voted against the same: Councilwoman
<br />Stocker. Motion carried.

<br />The Sheriff's report for August, 1973, was noted.

<br />Mayor: Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, HIRING OF BOOKKEEPER
<br />to approve the hiring of Steven D. Eberhardt, 676
<br />Geranium Avenue, St. Paul, riinnesota, as bookkeeper
<br />for the salary of $500.00 per month, subject to six
<br />months probation. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Black, GENERAL PAYROLL
<br />to approve the general payroll for the second half of
<br />September, 1973, in the amount of $2,930.61. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, GENERAL DISBURSEMENTS
<br />to approve the general disbursements for the second half
<br />of September, 1973, in the amount of $8,191.70. Motion
<br />carried.
<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, LIQUOR PAYROLL
<br />to approve the liquor payroll for the second half of
<br />September, 1973, in the amount of $1,31t0.1~9. Motion
<br />carried.
