L~ <br />Law defining this offense as a midsemeanor. The State <br />Law has since been changed defining it as a petty mis- <br />demeanor. <br />Attorney Kenefick was authorized to draft the n roposed <br />amendment to the ordinance and submit it to the Council <br />at the meeting of October 25, 1973• <br />The request of Mrs. Faye Olson, 1831 Asbury Avenue, <br />for the placement of Slow-Children signs on that street <br />was noted. Engineer Lemberg stated that this sign is <br />an illegal sign and that it does not regulate traffic <br />but just adds to the congestion of signs. Clerk Ad- <br />ministrator Barnes was directed to contact rlrs. Olson <br />to see if she would like to attend the next Council <br />meeting to discuss her reasons for this request. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 73-29 <br />1 <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING OCTOBER 1L THROUGH OCTOBER 20, <br />1973, "CLEANER AIR TrJEEK" <br />Councilwoman Stocker seconded the foregoing Resolution <br />and uoon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black <br />and Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker. Councilman Ecklund <br />abstained, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. Motion carried. <br />"SLOW-CHILDRETI" SIGNS <br />ON ASBURY AVENUE <br />CLEANER AIR WEEK <br /> <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, REGULAR MEETING DATE CHANGE <br />to move the regular meeting of November 22, 1973, to <br />November 29, 1973, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. <br />Motion carried. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes was directed to notify the <br />official newspaper telling them of the change of time <br />of Council meetings. Beginning November 8, 1973, <br />the meetings will start at 7:30 P.M. <br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />that EngineerL~mbergbe authorized to survey all traffic <br />regulatory signs on Village streets, in accordance with <br />the federally funded project to replace all damaged signs. <br />Upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Mayer Warkentien, Councilmen Black and <br />Ecklund, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following <br />voted against the same: Councilman Stone. Motion <br />carried. <br />MEETING TIME CHANGE <br />TRAFFIC SIGN SURVEY <br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that GENERAL PAYROLL <br />the general payroll for the first half of October, 1973, <br />in the amount of $3,172.19,. be approved. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Black, GENF..RAL DISBURSEMENTS <br />that the general disbursements for the second half of <br />September, 1973, in the amount of $~3l~.19, be approved. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />that the general disbursements for the first half of <br />September, 1973, in the amount of $26,165.11, be approved <br />
