Engineer Lemberg stated that this sign is an illegal sign and that it does not regulate traffic but just adds to the congestion of signs. Clerk Ad- ministrator Barnes was directed to contact rlrs. Olson to see if she would like to attend the next Council meeting to discuss her reasons for this request. Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 73-29 1 A RESOLUTION DECLARING OCTOBER 1L THROUGH OCTOBER 20, 1973, "CLEANER AIR TrJEEK" Councilwoman Stocker seconded the foregoing Resolution and uoon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker. Councilman Ecklund abstained, and the following voted against the same: None. Motion carried. "SLOW-CHILDRETI" SIGNS ON ASBURY AVENUE CLEANER AIR WEEK Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, REGULAR MEETING DATE CHANGE to move the regular meeting of November 22, 1973, to November 29, 1973, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Motion carried. Clerk-Administrator Barnes was directed to notify the official newspaper telling them of the change of time of Council meetings. Beginning November 8, 1973, the meetings will start at 7:30 P.M. Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, that EngineerL~mbergbe authorized to survey all traffic regulatory signs on Village streets, in accordance with the federally funded project to replace all damaged signs. Upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayer Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Ecklund, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against the same: Councilman Stone. Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Black, GENF..RAL DISBURSEMENTS that the general disbursements for the second half of September, 1973, in the amount of $~3l~.19, be approved.
