MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING 1 ~ 4 FALCON HEIGHT S, MINNESOTA DECEMBER 27, 1973 A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Village Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 P.M. ~ Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Stone, PRESENT and Councilwoman Stoeker. Also n resent were Clerk Ad- ministrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Kenefick. None. ~ Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, MINUTES to app rove the minutes of the meeting of December 13, 1973, as corrected. Motion carried. Mr. William T. Butler, President of Poor Richard's, Inc., l~00 Whitall Street, St. Paul, was present at the request of the Council and by notice of the Village Attorney to appear in the matter of the license suspension or revocation of Poor Richard's, Inc.. This action was deemed necessary after evidence of proof of criminal conduct was brought forth on the part of Richard A. Wybierala, former president of Poor Richard's,. Inc. Mr. Butler stated that he recently purchased eighty-seven per cent of the company, formerly held by Richard A. Wybierala, doing business as Poor Richard's, Inc., refuse hauler, outright. Mr. Wybierala's father owns the remaining thirteen per cent. Mr. Butler is also President of Metropolitan Refuse and Disposal. He stated that he employs only qualified and highly responsible employees and that his businesses are respectably run. He also stated that Richard A. Wybierala will not be associated with the company at any time in the future. In view of the fact that Richard A. Wybierala is no longer associated with the business and of the inten- tions of William T. Butler, President of Poor Richard's, Inc., it was the Council's decision that no further action was needed at this time. The license does expire on June 30, 197t~, and if at that time cause is shown that said license should be revoked, the matter will again be brought to the Council for review. Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #73-~t1 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEMPORARY TRANSFER OF AN ADDITIONAL $500.00 TO THE MUNICIPAL LIQUOR IMPRESET FUND Mayor Warkentien seconded the foregoing Resolution and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against the same: None.
