MINUTES - REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 11~, 197l~ <br />1 <br />2~ <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order by Mayor <br />tiTarkentien at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund and Steele. <br />Also present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer <br />Lemberg and Attorney Kenefick. <br />Councilwoman Stocker who was on vacation. <br />Councilman Steele mot*ed, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />to approve the minutes of the meeting of February 28, <br />197i~, as corrected. Motion carried. <br />April 11, 197It, was the date set for the discussion of <br />the Municipal State Aid Fund Usage. <br />The report by the Metropolitan Council explaining the <br />Lauderdale Comprehensive Plan, was briefly discussed. <br />This report was put out for the use and informational <br />purposes for municipalities bordering the City of <br />Lauderdale to inform them of proposed zoning or <br />redevelopment plans by the City of Lauderdale. This <br />reoort is on file in the Clerk's office. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes requested the Council <br />authorize him to draft a certificate of occupancy, to <br />be signed by all City Inspectors, certifying that <br />a residence is inhabitable and that all work making <br />it fit for occupancy has been completed. The Council <br />authorized Mr. Barnes to prepare a form and submit it <br />for suggestions and recommendations from the Council <br />at the next meeting. <br />The recreation report on the summer recreation program <br />for 197i~, was noted and tabled. Clerk-Administrator <br />Barnes was requested to have Jim Duffy and Lit <br />Duethmann appear at the next meeting to explain some <br />of the objectives of the program. <br />Fire resorts numbers 11, 12, 13, and 1~. were noted. <br />1 <br />The report by Ramsey County Commissioner, Delores J. <br />Knaak was noted. This report concerns the St. Paul- <br />Ramsey-Gillette Hospital Authority-University of <br />Minnesota Medical School-Ramsey Health Maintenance <br />Organization-Minnesota State Prison Expansion, which <br />is on file in the Clerk's office. <br />A letter from Reverend John Groettum, Pastor of the <br />Como Park Lutheran Church, resigning from the Falcon <br />Heights Human Rights Commission, was read. <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />MINUTES <br />MSA DISCUSSION BATE <br />LAUDERDALE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY <br />P.EATION PROGRAM - 197t~ <br />FIRE REPORTS <br />COMMUNITY HOSPITAL <br />RESIGNATION - J. GROETTUM <br />that the Falcon Heights City Council regretfully accept <br />Reverend Groettum's resignation from the Human Rights <br />Commission, and authorized Clerk-Administrator Barnes <br />to procure a plaque in appreciation for Reverend <br />
