<br />to approve the appointments by the Mayor, of: Richard
<br />Bardon, 1975 Autumn Street, for a term to expire Deceanber
<br />31, 1976; Doris sonde, 1895 N. Fairview, for a term to
<br />expire December 31, 1975; and Lawrence MacDonald, 1905 N.
<br />Albert, for a term to expire December 31, 197l~; to the
<br />Falcon Heights Human Rights Commission, thus filling all
<br />vacancies on the commission. Motion carried.

<br />HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION
<br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, HIRING OF BOOKKEEPER
<br />to approve the hiring of T. R. Williams, 636 W. Iowa,
<br />as bookkeeper, for a salary of $600.00 per month, and
<br />six months probation period. Motion carried.
<br />Attorney Kenefick briefly stated that there are three
<br />ways in k~ich the City Council could eliminate or res-
<br />trict the number of advertising signs or billboards in
<br />the business area. The proposed ways would be to
<br />condemn the signs, prohibit them or amortization. He
<br />asked that the matter be tabled until he could research
<br />the subject more thoroughly.
<br />The Storm Sewer Agreement between the City of St. Paul
<br />and the City of Falcon Heights signed in 1955, was noted.
<br />Fire reports numbers 15 and 16 were noted.
<br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Steele,
<br />to authorize Engineer Lemberg to prepare plans and
<br />specifications for the 197l~ street maintenance program.
<br />Motion carried.

<br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to SINKING FUND
<br />approve the general sinking fund for the second half of

<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, LIQUOR PAYROLL
<br />to approve the liquor payroll for the second half of
<br />March, 1971, in the amount of $1,235.70. Motion carried.
