They presented plans and <br />sketches for the proposed restaurant to the Council, <br />and also a sign variance application. <br />They desire to place lettering on the building on the <br />pylon, !~' x l2 ~ , on the front of the building 3' x 3~. ~ , <br />and on the side of the building 3' x 53'. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, <br />that the application for a sign variance, for the <br />C1ark~s Submarine Sandwich Food Chain, be submitted <br />to the Falcon Heights Planning Commission, which is <br />meeting on Wednesday, April 17, 197t~, at 7:30 P.M., <br />at the Falcon Heights City Ha11. Motion unanimously <br />carried. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes presented the investigative LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION <br />report by the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department of the LIDO CAFE <br />Lido Cafe, 1611 ZJ. Larpenteur to the Council, and the <br />report of the City Attorney of the board members of <br />the Lido Caf e. Both investigative reports indicated <br />that none of the parties in interest had any violations <br />involving the liquor, or any record of crime. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, ISSUAPdCE OF LIQUOR LICENSE <br />to approve the "On-Sale" Liquor License Application by LIDO CAFE -LICENSE #1 <br />the Lido Cafe, 1611 W. Larpenteur Avenue. Motion <br />unanimously carried. <br />Councilman Steele introduced the following Resolution APPROVAL OF FIRE RELIEF <br />and moved its adoption: BENEFIT LAW <br />RESOLUTION 71~-8 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING MINNESOTA LAWS, 197?, CHAPTER 208, <br />PERTAINING TO FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF ASSOCIATION BENEFIT S <br />FOR THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Councilman Black seconded the foregoing Resolution and <br />upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, and Steele, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the <br />following voted against the same: None. Motion unani- <br />mously carried. <br />Jim Cooperman, Sid Hartman, and Al Rubinger, were present APARTMENT COMPLEX <br />to discuss their plans for the proposed apartment complex DEVELOPMENT - HARTMAN AND <br />on Larpenteur Avenue on the Hermes Floral Property west RUBINGER <br />of Tatum Street, and to present their combination <br />rezoning, variance and conditional use request to the <br />Council. <br />
