A director will b e hired along with two assistants at $2.25 per hour, and i.f necessary another two assistants would be hired. Mayor I.larkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, RECREATION DIRIxTOR that Craig Strane, 530 01d Highway 8, New Brighton, b e CR4IG STRANE hired as the recreation director for the 197i.~ program, at a salary of X1,200.00. Motion unanimously carried. Clerk-Administrator Barnes also reported that the Rec- reation Committee would again like to offer a figure skating program for boys and girls in tt•~o -ten week sessions. The program would be self-sustaining. P•~a~•or Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, FIGURE .SKATING LESSONS to approve the offering of figure skating lessons in two sessions, at X20.00 per child, for each ten week session, and authorized Clerk-Administrator Barnes to procure ice time at X30.00 per hour. Motion unanimously carried.
