A letter from Mr. Sam Spiegler, owner of the apart-
ments was read also requesting that parking on the west
side of Fry Street be allowed to continue.
It was the intent of the Council to grant the request for
the winter months, hoping that Mr. Spiegler would take
action to provide more parking space in his parking lot,
which Mr. Spiegler feels would not be feasible.
Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund,
that parking be allowed to continue on the west side of
Fry Street indefinitely. Motion carried.
Action was deferred until June 13, 197t~, regarding the
request of the Fire Department for the purchase of
radio receivers.
No action was taken on the request for a donation for
the Ramsey County Junior Sheriffs Association.
Councilman Black read the minutes of the Falcon Heights
Labalestra of the Lido Cafe, Inc., 1611 W. Larpenteur
