Motion carried. ~s Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, that rezoning of property adjacent to the property involved in the Hennes application for rezoning be considered. Specifically, it was moved that an area immendiately north of the Hermes property be rezoned to R-2 and that property further north abutting the Falcon Woods residential R-1, and that property immediately to the east be rezoned from R-2 to R-3. Specific dimensions and locations of said property are to be provided by the City Engineer. Purpose of this action is to provide consideration for the entire area, not including University of Minnesota property, rather than confining rezoning consideration only to the property described in the Hermes application. Motion included ref erral of this rezoning action be the Council to the Falcon Heights Planning Commission for public hearing at 7:30 P.M., June 2l~, 1971, and also a public hearing by the City Council on July 1, 197>~. Councilman Ecklund was authorized to discuss this matter with Mr. Hawkins. Motion unanimously carried. 1 REZONING PROPERTY ADJACENT TO HERMES PROPERTY Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, GENERAL PAYROLL to approve the general payroll in the amount of $3,110.10, for the second half of May, 197It. Motion carried. Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, GENERAL DISBURSEMENTS to approve the general disbursements in the amount of $17,669.l~6, for the second half of May, 1974.
