Motion carried. <br />~s <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, <br />that rezoning of property adjacent to the property involved <br />in the Hennes application for rezoning be considered. <br />Specifically, it was moved that an area immendiately north <br />of the Hermes property be rezoned to R-2 and that property <br />further north abutting the Falcon Woods residential R-1, <br />and that property immediately to the east be rezoned <br />from R-2 to R-3. Specific dimensions and locations of <br />said property are to be provided by the City Engineer. <br />Purpose of this action is to provide consideration for <br />the entire area, not including University of Minnesota <br />property, rather than confining rezoning consideration <br />only to the property described in the Hermes application. <br />Motion included ref erral of this rezoning action be the <br />Council to the Falcon Heights Planning Commission for <br />public hearing at 7:30 P.M., June 2l~, 1971, and also a <br />public hearing by the City Council on July 1, 197>~. <br />Councilman Ecklund was authorized to discuss this matter <br />with Mr. Hawkins. Motion unanimously carried. <br />1 <br />REZONING PROPERTY ADJACENT <br />TO HERMES PROPERTY <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, GENERAL PAYROLL <br />to approve the general payroll in the amount of $3,110.10, <br />for the second half of May, 197It. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, GENERAL DISBURSEMENTS <br />to approve the general disbursements in the amount of <br />$17,669.l~6, for the second half of May, 1974. Motion <br />carried . <br />
