Councilman Labalestra abstained. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, REFUSE HAULERS LICENSE <br />to approve the following Refuse Hauler's License RENEWALS <br />renewals for the period of July 1, 197I~ through June 30, <br />1975: <br />John Mudek DBA Mudek Trucking Company, 1520 Ames <br />Wm. T. Butler DBA Poor Richard's, Inc., 100 Whitall <br />John J. Remackel DBA Remackel's Rubbish Hauling, 1087 Edgerton <br />Kenneth P. Saver DBA Saver's Rubbish Removal, 1307 6th Avenue, St. Paul <br />George Splichal DBA Splichal Rubbish Service, 1269 Scheffer <br />Motion unanimously carried. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, <br />to approve the transfer of $600.00 from travel, conference <br />and schools account of the fire department budget, for <br />the purchase of radio pagers by the Falcon Heights Fire <br />Department, as set forth in the proposal by Davis <br />Electronic Service Company in their letter of May 1t~, <br />197., with the additional $600.00 to be appropriated from <br />the fire department budget set by the Council for the <br />purchase of radios. Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Ralph Strutzel, 199. Autumn Street, presented a <br />petition to the Council, signed by several property <br />owners who own property adjacent to the Community Park, <br />requesting the installation of a six foot chain link <br />fence in lieu of the five foot fence approved by the <br />City Council at an earlier date. She stated that she <br />felt for privacy and protection of the property owners <br />that a six foot fence would be the most feasible. She <br />stated that the remaining property owners who had not <br />signed the petition were not adverse to a six foot <br />fence and it would be agreeable with them if the Council <br />were to approve said fence. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, <br />that a Change Order be included in the Park Improvement <br />Project, ordering the installation of a six foot chain <br />link fence in lieu of the five foot chain link fence <br />previously approved by the Council, to be installed on the <br />west boundary of Falcon Woods 1 and 2.
