He also requested <br />that a date be set for the review of the Arona Avenue <br />Street Improvement Project. <br />Engineer Lemberg stated that at this time there are <br />several projects to be completed before the Arona <br />Avenue Improvement Project, and that he could not <br />give a specific date as to when the report would be <br />ready. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, <br />that the matter concerning interest on the Sanitary Sewer <br />Loan be placed on the agenda for the next meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />I.1 <br />1 <br />t) <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, CHANGE ORDER -WATER AND <br />that a change order in the amount of $6,512.00 be in- SEUJER SERVICES FOR PARK <br />eluded in the park improvement project, contracting <br />Robert 0. Westlund to install sewer and water services <br />for the community park at Roselawn and Cleveland. <br />Motion unanimously carried. <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Cour~ ilman Steele, <br />that Metropolitan Animal Patrol Service, Inc., be <br />appointed as the City Animal Control Firm, beginning <br />July 1, 1971 and ending December 31, 197, and that <br />the l2ayor and Clerk-Administrator be authorized to <br />enter into a contract as per the Clerk's recommendation. <br />Potion unanimously carried. <br />The report on Planned Unit Development was deferred. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />to approve the payment to Henry J. Dachtera, for his <br />attendance at the State Fire Convention, June 6, 7, <br />8 and 9, in the amount of x179.00, and also to Frank <br />Wandmacher in the amount $176.00, with the stipulation <br />that Mr. tilandmacher submit his receipts for the <br />convention to the Clerk. Motion carried. <br />APPOINTA~NT -ANIMAL CONTROL <br />FINM <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVr',LOPMENT <br />PAYMENT - STATE FIRE <br />CONVENTION <br />The request by Fireman Terry Iverson, requesting tuition EMERGENCY MEDICAL TRAINING <br />for Emergency Medical Technician Training, was deferred <br />until more information is obtained regarding this request. <br />No action was taken on the request by the Clerk-Adminis- RECREATION EMPLOYEE <br />trator regarding the hiring of an additional recreation <br />employee. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to PAYMENT TO FIREMEN FOR <br />approve the request by the Clerk-Administrator to pay PUMPING PONDING AREA <br />the firemen who pumped the Idaho-Snelling ponding area <br />after the last heavy rainfall, from the Storm Sewer <br />Fund. Motion unanimously carried. <br />Engineer Lemberg reported that an agreement is now being SE4~'ER AGREEMENT <br />negotiated with the pity of Roseville, which would allow <br />Falcon Heights to connect sewer service from the park <br />into the Roseville lines. <br />
