rlrs. Hermes stated that it is aesthetically displeasing <br />to them and that they feel it will devalue their property. <br />She also stated that there is a restricted deed on the <br />property. <br />It was the Attorney's opinion that the Council was not <br />responsible for the enforcement of restrictive deeds and <br />that this matter should be taken u~ with an attorney and <br />Mr. Wahl. No action was needed on the matter. <br />1 <br />s5 <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, PAYMENT TO HORTICULTURIST <br />to ann rove the payment to C. Gustav Hard, City Horticulturist <br />in the amount of X110.00 for the inspection of trees in the <br />City. Motion carried. <br />The Council authorized the Clerk-Administrator to get bids SOUND SYSTEM <br />on a sound system and tape recorder for the Council <br />chambers. <br />Councilman Labalestra stated that he nas received some FLAMEBURGER PARKING LOT <br />complaints from tenants of adjoining buildings, regarding <br />the maintenance of the Flameburger parking lot. Clerk- <br />Administrator Barnes was directed to discuss this matter <br />with the manager of the Flameburger. <br />Discussion was held pertaining to the purchase of tinted PURCHASE OF Tr.'IDIDOW SHADES <br />window shades for the Council chambers and office. No <br />action was taken at this time, but the matter will be <br />brought up for consideration during the adoption of the <br />19?5 budget . <br />Mayor Warkentien moved that the Council authorize the <br />installation of block or related windows in the <br />Council chambers, and also the installation of air <br />conditioning as per the talans of the City Engineer <br />which are on file in the Clerk's office. Motion died <br />for lack of a second. <br />Councilman Black reported that he had received a complaint <br />from John Frautschi, 1906 Pascal, who stated that his <br />neighbor, Robert Steiner, 1~1t1~ Roselawn was erecting a <br />fence which he felt was higher than the ordinance permits. <br />Councilman Black stated that he did check the height of <br />the fence and that it does meet the ordinance requirements, <br />and so no action would be needed. <br />IN,"TALLATION OF WINDOWS & <br />AIR CONDITIONING <br />FENCE 1Li1at~ ROSEI~Ati.TN <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to ADJOURNMENT <br />adjourn the meeting at 11:00 P.M.
