A letter frcm T. Jay Salmen, Attorney, retained by Mr. <br />and Mrs. Nes~tbr Riviere, 1958 Summer Street, regarding <br />an empty lot ad3acent to the Riviere's was read. Said <br />lot is vacant and is uded by neighborhood children <br />for park purposes, causing disturbances and damaging <br />property. Clerk-Administrator Barnes was directed to <br />determine ownership of the property and present at~y <br />other data to the Countil at the next regular meeting. <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, <br />to direct the Clerk-Administrator to answer the letter <br />of Delores Knaak, County Commissioner,;regarding the <br />one .mill levy for senior citizen programs. Until the <br />needs for the programs are defined and costs estimated, <br />the Council will take no action on app roving this <br />levy. Motion carried. <br />Fire reports It6, 117, ~.8, and !~9 were noted. <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Black, <br />to approve ;the general payroll for the second half of <br />September;~:1971t, in the amount of $3,122.26. Motion <br />carried. " <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by M~yror Warkentien, <br />to approve the general disbursements for the second <br />half of S~pt~nber, 1971, in the amount of $39, 880.17. <br />Motion carried. <br />VACANT LOT - 1958 SUMMER <br />MILL LEVY FOR SENIOR CITIZEN <br />PROGRAMS <br />FIRE REPORTS <br />GENERAL PAYROLL <br />GENERAL DISBURSEMENTS <br />Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Black, SINKINQ FUND <br />to approve the sinking fund disbursements for the second <br />half of September, 1971<, in the amount of $89,1It2.38. <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Laba1 estra, LIQUOR PAYROLL <br />to approve the liquor payroll for the second half of <br />September, 1974, in the amount of $1,619.31. Motion <br />carried. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, LIQUOR DISBURSEMENTS <br />to approve the liquor disbursements for the second half <br />of September, 1974, in the amount of $11,135.00. Motion <br />carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, ADJOURNMENT <br />to ad3ourn the meeting at 12:02 A.M. Motion carried. <br />WILLIS C. A.
