~` ~. <br />Councilman Steele reported on an accident involving the Ramseyy <br />squad car. The car was damaged to the extent that the expense <br />of repaa:r world exceed the valve. In discussing the accident <br />with Captain Fred Spencer, Ramsey County Sheriffs Office, it <br />was suggested that the County would be interested in the pur- <br />chase of three vans for patrol duty, one which world be used <br />for Falcon He3ghta. He said it would cost the City of Falcon <br />Heights abort $300.00 to $100.00 In the long run, this type <br />of vehicle world provide matey conveniences which are not <br />available in the station wagon type of vehicles. Councilman <br />Ecklund stated that the Fire and Rescue Squad would welcome <br />this type of equipment. Councilman Steele will keep in ton~h <br />with Captain Spencer regarding the purchase proposal. <br />Engineer Lemberg noted that some of the Councilmembers went <br />to look at the new Park Building. The contractor had given <br />permission to use the new building at this time, although <br />there are a few details to be taken care of before spring. <br />Mayor Warkentien suggested planting memorial trees at the <br />park. <br />POLICE VAN PROPOSAL <br />FOR FALCON HEIGHTS <br />NEW PARR BUILDING <br />Ma~ror Warkentien read Henry Dachtera~s letter on the proposed HENRY DACHTERA~S <br />Ramsey County Civil Defense Common Organization. The Council LETTER ON PROPOSED <br />felt that there was not enough information mailable on the COMMON RAMSEY COUNTY <br />subject at this time to take at~q action. CIVIL DEFENSE <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes discussed the insurance coverage MUNICIPAL BUILDING <br />for the City of Falcon Heights.
