2b63 <br />Appointment of Stone introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Councilmana adoptions <br />WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the office of village <br />councilman _ <br />NpNT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that_Norman Ecklund be <br />appointed to fill said vacancy and to serve the unexpired <br />term of said office, which is until midnights December 31, <br />1968. - <br /> Motion was seconded by Strandquist. Black stated that he <br /> would want to support Peter McGough to fill vacancy. <br />- Warkentien stated his desire was to fill vacancy with someone <br /> from the northwest area of the village and that his vote <br /> would reflect an affirmative vote and not a negative vote <br /> for anyone. <br /> Upon a roll ea1.l vote on the above motion, the following was <br /> recordeds Stones Aye. _.Warkentien; Aye. Blacks Nay. <br /> Strandquists Aye. <br /> VVhereugon it was-duly declaxed the motion was carried and <br /> Norman Eaklund hereby appoi,n.ted as Village Councilman. <br />Planning Commission= Mayor Warkentien re-appointed the following three persons <br /> to the Planning Commission, said appointments to expire <br /> December 31, 197Q. <br /> George W.
