Wood - Parking Clerk Strandquist read a letter from Dr. C. C. Wood, <br />Violation Fine: 828 Lowry Medical Arts Building, who was fined X5.00 <br />for a parking violation at Embers Restaurant. Another <br />X7..00 was added because of failure to pay on ti.~e. <br />Dr. Wood thinks the X1.00 penalty should be returned <br />because there was no summons on his car. It was <br />decided to refer the matter to the Justice of the <br />Peace. <br />Amendment to Sewer Permit As a result of Mr. DeBernardi's problem, the Village <br />Ordinance Possibles Attorney will check on a possible amendment to the <br />ordinance relative to sewer permits. <br />Attack on Dog Owned by Clerk Strandquist read a letter from F. W. Manke, <br />F. W. Manke, 1l~64 West 11~6?~ West Idaho Avenue, relative to the fatal attack <br />Idaho: on their poodle by two dogs owned by R. J. Boemer, <br />1105 West Montana, St. Paul. Councilman Stone moved <br />shat a letter be written to Mr. Boemer by Village <br />Attorney informing Mr. Boemer that the Village has <br />an ordinance prohibiting dogs from running at large. <br />Motion was seconded by Councilman Black and carried <br />unanimously. <br />Highway Department Clerk Strandquist read letters from the State of <br />Street Allotments: Minnesota Highway Department containing notification <br />of annual street allotments. <br />Removal of lights from Councilman Ecklund moved that the N. S. P. Company be <br />Arona and Larpenteur requested to remove the two overhead fluorescent <br />avenue: lights from the NPl corner and the SV~ corner of inter- <br />section of Arona and Larpenteur. They have been <br />replaced. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Stone and carried. <br />Illumination of light at <br />Roselawn and Snelling Clerk Strandquist read letter from N. S. P. Company <br />Light divided equally giving rate for the light at Roselawn and Snelling <br />with Roseville: as X6.00 per month. That cost is to be divided <br />equally with Roseville and Falcon Heights is to <br />send statement to Roseville once a year for same. <br />New Street Light at Notification was also received from N. S. P. Company <br />Sheldon and Roselavm: that a 7000 lumen overhead mercury vapor street light <br />was installed January 1, 1968 at Sheldon and Roselawn <br />avenue. <br />Vacant Shell Oil Station Motion was made by Councilman Black and seconded by <br />-Larpenteur and Albert: Councilman Ecklund that the Village Clerk write to <br />the She11 0i1 Company notifying them of the condition <br />of the vacant station at Larpenteur and Albert and <br />reques that the premises be cleaned up and outside <br />fixtures removed. Motion was carried unanimously. <br />Meeting date Changeda Clerk Strandquist moved that the regular February 22 <br />meeting be held on February 21 at 7:00 P.M. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Black and carried <br />unanimously. <br />
