Highway Department Clerk Strandquist read letters from the State of Street Allotments: Minnesota Highway Department containing notification of annual street allotments. Removal of lights from Councilman Ecklund moved that the N. S. P. Company be Arona and Larpenteur requested to remove the two overhead fluorescent avenue: lights from the NPl corner and the SV~ corner of inter- section of Arona and Larpenteur. They have been replaced. The motion was seconded by Councilman Stone and carried. Illumination of light at Roselawn and Snelling Clerk Strandquist read letter from N. S. P. Company Light divided equally giving rate for the light at Roselawn and Snelling with Roseville: as X6.00 per month. That cost is to be divided equally with Roseville and Falcon Heights is to send statement to Roseville once a year for same. New Street Light at Notification was also received from N. S. P. Company Sheldon and Roselavm: that a 7000 lumen overhead mercury vapor street light was installed January 1, 1968 at Sheldon and Roselawn avenue. Vacant Shell Oil Station Motion was made by Councilman Black and seconded by -Larpenteur and Albert: Councilman Ecklund that the Village Clerk write to the She11 0i1 Company notifying them of the condition of the vacant station at Larpenteur and Albert and reques that the premises be cleaned up and outside fixtures removed. Motion was carried unanimously. Meeting date Changeda Clerk Strandquist moved that the regular February 22 meeting be held on February 21 at 7:00 P.M. The motion was seconded by Councilman Black and carried unanimously.
