2686 Mrs. Kulkay volunteered to take survey of all residents living on Fry Street with regard to banning parking on the entire street. She will submit results of survey and signatures at next meeting of council. After review, Strandquist moved, seconded by Black that the Village Clerk be authorized to submit the Financial Statement to the Suburban Sun Newspapers for.. official publication. Ayes; All., Nays: None. Motion was carried. Management Letter: Carl Pearson~s Management letter of March 18, 1968 listed cash adjustments that should be made. Stone moved, seconded by Black that the Village Clerk be instructed to make cash adjustments to Accounts #1~, ~5, #6, and #1 as outlined in above letter. Ayes: Warkentien, Strandquist, Black, Ecklund and Stone. Nays: None.. Motion was carried. Expand General Ledger Pearson reviewed present accounting system with council- to Cover A11 Accounts: men, and as recommended in management letter, con- „ sideration was given to expanding general ledger to - cover all accounts. This will increase amount of formal recording and work as a cross check to aid in mechanical proof of work performed and will also conform more closely to generally accepted practices for Municipal Accounting on a cash basis. Black moved, seconded by Ecklund that Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to implement said recommendation as soon as conveniently possible. Ayess All. Nays: None. Motion was carried. Dog Controls Donald Bona of B & E Patrol was present to discuss animal control.. He stated that when dogs are impounded, owners are instructed to obtain registration from the village office before dog is released and he would like council approval to keep about five registration forms and tags on hand at his office as a convenience to dog owners who claim dogs after village office hours. After inquiry, Bona advised that his firm was equipped to_ handle more hours of patrolling Falcon Heights. He also stated that survey will be made either by phone or house B & E Patrol to house, to determine kinds and numbers of animals kept authorized to patrol within Falcon Heights. All dog owners will be advised Falcon Heights an that dog registrations must be obtained. additional eight hours a month: Strandquist moved, seconded by'Ecklund that B & E Patrol n 1 be authorized to add another eight hours a month to patrolling village streets for the months of April, May, and June. The first eight hours of patrolling, as per contract, will be at ~l~.00 and the additional eight hours at X5.00 an hour. It is understood that above-mentioned survey will be conducted during this period.
