2691 <br />County of Ramsey Strandquist introduced the following resolution and <br />DatEt Processing moved. its adoption: <br />Department: <br />. WHEREAS, the Village of Falcon Heights from <br />time to time has authorized and made. public <br />improvements which have been financed by special <br />assessments and said village has certified said <br />special assessment rolls to the office of the Ramsey <br />County Auditor, and <br />1+VHEREAS, the Ramsey County Auditor has from time <br />to time created and utilized. the services of the <br />Ramsey County Data Processing Department, and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Data Processing <br />Center contemplates the use of magnetic tape systems <br />rather than punch card systems in the complication <br />and imprinting of the annual assessment billing and <br />assessment rolls; <br /> NC}W, THEREFORE, BE TT RF~SOLVED by the Village <br /> Council of the Village of FalconHeights, Ramsey <br /> County Minnesota, that the County Auditor of Ramsey <br /> County and the Ramsey County Data Processing Depart- <br /> ment are hereby authorized to.prepare the usual and <br /> necessary assessment books and rolls using the <br /> magnetic tape system or similar system and take such <br /> other steps as may be necessary to improve the <br /> efficiency of the Ramsey County and Falcon Heights <br /> assessment billing system. <br /> Motion was duly seconded by Stone and upon a vote <br /> being taken the following voted. for same: Warkentien, <br /> Strandquist Black, Ecklund and Stone and the <br /> following voted against same; None. Whereupon said <br /> resolution was declared passed and adopted, <br />19b8 Seal Coating - Blaclc moved, seconded by Stone that the Village <br />Village Streets and Engineer be instructed to_prepare preliminary plans and <br />Sheldon Street: specifications for seal coating and patching streets <br /> in the northwest quadrant of the village, .and to <br /> include Sheldon Street between Ruggles and RoselaRn <br /> Avenues in said specifications and to ,present such <br /> plans to the council for approval, Ayes:, All. Nays: <br /> None. Lotion was carried. <br />Street Sweeping -1968: Stone moved, seconded by Strandquist that the village <br /> engineer be authorized to negotiate for tY~e best <br /> possible price and job of sweeping the village streets. <br /> Ayes: All. Nays:- None. Motion was carried. <br />Hubert Owens -1914 Councilmen agreed to table this matter of ,a variance <br />Holton Street - for a fence which may be on Ramsey County Right-of~li(ay <br />Variance tabled: for Roselawn Avenue. <br />Bills: Strandquist moved, secondedyby Black that the following <br /> bills be paid. Ayes: Warkenti,en~ Strandquist Black <br /> Ecklund and Stone. Nays.: None. Motion was carried. <br />
