2722 <br />Bills: <br />Adjournment: <br />Ecklund introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />1NI~[ERE~A.S, William E. Swenson applied to the Village <br />of Falcon Heights for a variance permit to allow for <br />the ..construction and location of a garage at 1la.36 West <br />California, with a rear yard setback less than the minirm~m <br />thirty (30) feet required by the awning ordinance, and <br />1RHEREAS, the applicant inadvertently set forth in the <br />application form that the variance requested was a two (2) <br />foot rear yard setback when he actually meant and was <br />understood by the Village Council and Planning Commission' <br />to mean c onehalf (2) foot setback, and <br />WHEREAS, the error was not detected until after the <br />April 17, 1968 meetingof the Village Council <br />NOW, SORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council <br />that the minutes of the April 17, 1968 meeting of the <br />Village. Council ark ~iexeby amended to show that a variance <br />permit has been granted William E. Sw®nson to construct and <br />locate a garage at 1~.3b West California with a one half (~) <br />foot rear yard setback instead of the required 30 feet. <br />Motion was duly seconded by Black and upon a vote being <br />taken the following voted for same: Warkentien, Strandquist~ <br />Black, Ecklund and Stone, and the following voted against <br />lames None. Whereupon said resolution was declared passed. <br />Stone moved, seconded by Strandquist that the following <br />bills be paid. Ayes: A11. Nays: None. Motion carried. <br />F. H. Fire Dept.
