The possibility of <br /> erecting a basket weave fence was also explored. Dick <br /> DeSchriver, summer recreation director, attended the <br /> meeting and outlined the summer recreation programs which <br /> will be conducted from 9s30 a.m. to ~.s00 p.m. each week <br />-- day at both the Falcon Woods and FalconHeights Elementary <br /> School playgrounds. <br />An Ordinance Crating Ecklund introduced the following resolution and moved <br />Human Rights its adoptions <br />Commissions <br /> WHER~'~S~ the Village Council has held discussions <br />Ordinance No. 85s to consider the. adoption of proposed Ordinance No. 85:and <br /> WHEREl1S, the attorney for the Village of Falcon <br /> Heights has been consulted in the preparation of proposed <br /> Ordinance No. 85, <br />NCW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village <br />Council of Falcon Heights does ordain as follows <br />It is hereby declared that it is the public policy <br />of the Village of Falcon Heights to fulfill its <br />responsibility in securing for all citizens equal <br />opportunity in housings employments public accommodatiens, <br />public services and education, and to work consistently <br />to improve the human relations climate of the Village. <br />To this ends the Village Council of Falcon Heights does <br />ordains <br />Section 1. There is hereby established within the <br />Village of Falcon Heights a Human Rights Commission. <br />Section 2. The purpose of the Commission is to <br />secure for all citizens equal opportunity in employment ~ <br />f housing,. public accommodations public services and <br />education and full participation in the affairs of this <br />community by advising the Village Council on long range <br />programs to improve community relations in the Village. <br />Section 3.
