Larpentetxr Ave . <br />Richard Coverdale <br />2.716 <br />Motion for adoption for the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Strandquist and upon a vote being <br />taken, the following voted in favor of same: Warkentien, <br />Strandquist, Black, Ecklund and Stone and the following <br />voted against same: None. Whereupon resolution was <br />declared adopted. <br />Black introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Richard J. Coverdale has made an appli= <br />cation to the Village of Falcon Heights for a conditional <br />use permit to construct a 23-unit apartment building at <br />2025 tidest Larpenteur Avenue, which property is zoned <br />Bl-A, pursuant to Ordinance No. 64, Sections 16.5 and <br />10.2 (Subd. 8), as amended by Ordinance 71, and <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights ref erred said request for conditional <br />use permit to the Planning Commission of the Village of <br />F~.1con Heights, and said Planning Commission .approved <br />said conditional use request by a report dated March 28, <br />1968, a copy of which report is on file in the office <br />of the Village Clerk and made apart h erof by reference, <br />and <br />WHEI~.EAS, the number of parking spaces and the side <br />yard setback originally provided in the construction <br />p7a.ns failed to meet minimum requirements of the Falcon <br />Heights zoning ordinance, and the applicant has subse- <br />quently amended the construction plans to provide for <br />parking spaces and a side yard setback which now meet <br />the requi~snents of said zoning ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed apartment building now <br />conforms with all other conditions set forth in <br />Section 8.1~ of the zoning ordinance, including density <br />requirements, <br />NOW, THEREOFRE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village <br />Council of the Village of Falcon Heights: <br />1. There are special or unique characteristics <br />involved herein, and the granting o~ said conditional <br />use permit will not be detrimental to the health, safety <br />or general welfare of the community, nor will cause <br />serious traffic congestion nor hazards, nor will <br />seriously depreciate surrounding property values, and <br />that the granting of said conditional use permit is in <br />harmony with the general purpose and intent of the <br />ordinance and the comprehensive plan of said village. <br />2. The request for said conditional use permit is <br />hereby granted. <br />Motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Stone and upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted for same: Strandquist, Warkentien, Black, <br />Stone and Ecklund and the following voted against same: <br />None. Whereupon resolution was declared adopted. <br />
