2766 <br />~iEREAS, the V311age Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights has reviewed the request for said variance <br />permit and has reviewed the report of the Planning <br />Commission, ` <br />NCf9P, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Falcon Heights <br />Village Council that <br />1, There are practical difficulties and particular <br />hardships in carrying out the strict letter of the <br />regulations of this ordinance, including problems of <br />pedestrian #nd bicycle traffic crossing the property <br />2, The granting of the request for a variance is <br />necessary for the preservation and en3oyment of a sub- <br />stantial property right of the applicant, <br />3. The granting of the proposed variance will not <br />impair an adequate supply of light and air to adjacent <br />property, unreasonably increase the congestion in the <br />public streets, increase the danger of fire, endanger <br />the public safety, unreasonably diminish or impair <br />established property values in the surrounding area, or <br />in any other way impair health, safety, comforts, morals <br />or in any other respect be contrary to the intent of <br />Ordinance No. 6l~, as amended, or the comprehensive plan <br />of the Village. <br />~.. The Village Clerk and Village Zoning Administrator <br />are herbby empowered to issue said variance permits which <br />permit would allow a 1~2u high fence to extend from the <br />rear lot line to the front lot line. <br />The motion was duly seconded by Warkentien. Upon a vote <br />being taken, the following voted for s awes Ecklund and <br />Warkentien and the following voted againstsames Black. <br />Whereupon it was declared that the resolution was adopted. <br />'It is noted that the Village Council had previously taken <br />under consideration the feasibility of erecting a fence on <br />both sides of this walkway. <br />Farmers Union Grain Agreement between Farmers Union Grain Terminal Association and <br />Parking Lot leased by the Falcon Heights Volunteer Fire Department pertains to the <br />Falcon Heights Volunteer latter leasing the formeris parking lot immediately west and <br />Fire Department during so~zth of the Village Hall.-for the week-ends during State <br />Fair Week: Fair Week. Volunteers will handle parking cars on the <br />property ii~gs.o~csainy 7x~s~ ~iv~ c.~f~ ys. <br />Ratification of Actions Ecklund moved, seconded by Warkentien that the actions <br />taken by Village Council taken by the Village Council at the special meeting held <br />at special meeting of on July 31, 196$ be .and are hereby ratified.
