Turnlund~s signature stated in part that storm <br />Fairview and sewer installation in area of Roseville between Fairview <br />Prior Avenues & and Prior Avenues and Roselawn Avenue and T.H. 36 involves <br />Roselavm Avenue about 20 acres of Falcon Heights immediately west of <br />& T.H. 36s Fairview Avenue. Roseville hopes that Falcon Heights <br />. Council will agree to join in this improvement. to solve <br />the mutual drainage problem at Roselawn Avenue & Tatum <br />Street. Ecklund moved, seconded by Black that the <br />Village Council authorize the Village Engineer to consult <br />with Roseville Engineer to work out cost estimates and <br />preliminary plans for storm sewer in said area of the Village. <br />Ayes: A11.. Nays; None._ Motion was carried. <br />Law Enforcement Ecklund advised he had met with Roseville Manager Dick <br />Services: Turnlund and Police Chief Ray Goneau to discuss haw <br />enforcement services for Falcon Heights. It was determined <br />that the cost from Ramsey County Sheriff Department is <br />comparable,tb'-r~h~tothe cost would. be to Roseville but <br />the services from Roseville would be somewhat less. Ecklund <br />suggested that the discussions regarding this be terminated <br />and council agreed. <br />Fire Department At Ecklundts request, Al Helbig~ fire chief, got together <br />Meeting at Fire a group of--firemen to discuss operational problems in <br />Chiefs Home: implementing a fully volunteer fire department, as has bees: <br />discussed for the past several months. Seven volunteer <br />fire department members were present. <br />
