Claim for Sewer <br />Repairs <br />it <br />1 <br />n <br />Mr. Ted Peterson, 1369 W. <br />amount of $42.00 for sewe <br />The claim was referred to <br />2833 <br />Idaho, submitted a claim in the <br />r repairs done at his property. <br />the Village Engineer for investigation. <br />Sale of Lindig Ecklund informed the Council that the Lindig Property <br />Property: which was sold has been returned to the Ramsey County <br />Welfare Department for re-sale and that residents of Tatum <br />are looking into the passibility of obtaining the property <br />for extension to their lots. He stated that the property <br />is selling for considerably less than the previous price. <br />Discussion was raised as to the suitability of the property <br />for tennis courts. Ecklund will look into the sale and <br />price further. <br />Salaries of Council: Ecklund moved to raise the salaries of the Mayor, Council, <br />Clerk and Treasurer beginning January 1, 1969. The salary <br />to be paid the Mayor: $125, the Clerk.: $100, the Council: <br />$100, and the Treasurer: $100. Total annual estimated <br />cost of this increase would be $2,760.00. Strandquist <br />seconded the motion. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the <br />salaries of the Council cannot be raised until such an action <br />is published and the publis.is given 30 days in which to <br />submit a referendum signed by ten percent of the voters at <br />the last election (in this case, a Village election in which <br />460 votes were cast). If at the end of the 30 days, no <br />referendum has been submitted, the raise goes into effect <br />the following January. Ecklund and Strandquist withdrew <br />the motion until a later date. <br />Settlement of Labor Attorney Seed presented a copy of a letter dated December <br />Dispute: 16, 1968 addressed to P4r. Prifrel, Teamster's Local No. 149, <br />in regard to dn_smissal of labor dispute between the Village <br />of Falcon Heights and the full-time motor operators. <br />Bills: <br />Adjournment <br />Stone moved, Strandquist seconded that the following bills <br />be paid.
