2835 <br />Electrical Black moved, seconded by Ecklund that Gilman Moe be retained <br />Inspector: as Electrical Inspector for the village. Motion was carried. <br />Official Stone moved, seconded by 1~~larkentien that the following <br />Depository: resolution be adopted. Upon a vote, the resolution was <br />declared unanimously passed. <br />RESOLVF~D that the Falcon Heights State Bank of Flacon <br />Heights, Minnesota be and is hereby designated as a depository <br />for the funds of the Village of Falcon Heights and that the <br />Village Treasurer is authorized to deposit General and other <br />funds therein to the amount of two-hundred fifty thousand <br />dollars ($250,000.00). <br />RESOLVED FURTHER that the collateral shall be furnished <br />by the Falcon Heights State Bank in lieu of the corporate or <br />suxety bond required by law, consisting of two-hundred forty-five <br />thousand dollars (~2~.5,000.00) face of U. S. Government Obligations <br />accompanied by an assignment providing that in case of default <br />on the part of the Falcon Heights State Bank, the Council has <br />full power and authority to sell the collateral or so much as <br />may be necessary to realize the full .amount due the municipality. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER that checks of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights drawn upon the said bank account shall be honored <br />by said bank only if signed by the Mayor, the Clerk and the <br />.Treasurer of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota. <br />In the absence of any one or more of the above, the Acting Mayors <br />signature shall be honored in place of the Mayor, and the Deputy <br />Clerk-Treasurers signature shall be honored in place of the <br />Clerk or Treasurer. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER that this designation shall be effective <br />until the end of the present calenda.ry~,r. <br />Posting Places: Stone moved, seconded b~~Taylor that the following places be <br />designated official posting places: <br />(1) Village Hall - 161i.~. W. Larpenteur Avenue <br />(2) Applebaum~s Market -1558 w. Larpenteur Avenue <br />(3) Blomberg~s Store - Iowa and Hamline Avenue <br />(~.) Falcon Heights Pharmacy -- 1707 North Snelling Avenue <br />Upon vote, the motion was unanimously carried. <br />Safe Deposit Box: Taylor moved, seconded by Ecklund to continue renting a safe <br />deposit box at the Falcon Heights State Bank. Motion was carra.ed. <br />Municipal Bond Black moved, seconded by Stone that the firm of Juran and Moody <br />Consultants: be retained as municipal bond consultants. Motion was carried. <br />Legislative tidarkentien seconded Ecklund's motion that Charles P. Stone be <br />Representative: appointed Legislative Representative of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights. Motion was carried. <br />Horticulturist: Ec}11.und moved, Taylor seconded that C. Gustav Hard be appointed <br />Horticulturist for the village. Motion was carried. <br />
